So if you didn't already know, I'm going to be participating in the Bout of Books Readathon, which is a readathon that will be happening all of next week, starting on Monday. But anyways, here are my general reading goals for next week. I hope to be getting a lot of reading done. But also there's schoolwork, so. :/
Then, I hope to read & finish these books next week!
I'm ambitious. I know. I'm expecting We Were Liars to come in near the end of the week next week, so that'll be a fun weekend treat, and also a couple books on the list are e-ARCs that I need to read and review and also a library book. So, I think if there wasn't a readathon to kick my butt, I would be taking forever to get this many books read. Haha!
The TBRs
So like I said, I plan on reading a lot, but I'm also currently in the middle of about three books right now, so if I finish:- Hexed by Michelle Krys
- Coin Heist by Elisa Ludwig
- Noggin by John Corey Waley
Then, I hope to read & finish these books next week!
- Stupid Girl by Cindy Miles
- We Were Liars by e.Lockhart
- The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by e.Lockhart
- The Academy - Thief by C.L. Stone
- If I Stay by Gayle Forman

UPDATES:
Monday:
I finished one book yesterday, which was Stupid Girl by Cindy Miles. And I started reading The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by e.Lockhart. I managed to finish Hexed and Coin Heist before the readathon began, so my TBR has shifted slightly.
Tuesday:
So my box of books from Indigo came in with We Were Liars, so of course I had to start that, but also I was able to knock Thief by C.L. Stone off my list! Great read and review for it will be coming soon. So far I've read two books for each of the days of bout of books, but I doubt I'll be able to keep up that pace. Hahaha!
Wednesday:
So i was out all day on a trip to the Festival of Trees in Toronto, and there'll be a post on that, but I didn't get too much reading done. I managed to finish We Were Liars instead of studying even though I have like two tests and two essays due but whatever. My heart is still broken and I'm still internally screaming over the book, but whatever. Hoping to finish the other E. Lockhart book that I'm reading.
Thursday:
So I'm still kinda devastated from We Were Liars, but surprisingly, I finished two books: The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E.Lockhart and My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. I won't be writing a review on The Disreputable History, but I enjoyed it and it was adorable. Frankie is very Slytherin and I highly approve. My Life Next Door is adorable and I needed that pick me up. I'm hoping to use a fantasy next as a pick me up instead of contemporary. I'm really burning through the books right now in this readathon! Wow!
Friday:
So I got into a kind of slump. I didn't really finish any books. I did start two though. I started The Rithmatist and Contact by Laurisa White Reyes. So I hope to finish a book tommorrow on Saturday, so I can finish some books up. Hahaha. Readathons are really good for getting through ARCs.
Saturday:
So yet again, I didn't get any reading done. I think I'm just kind of burnt up from reading everyday. I fell into the same kind of hole after Dewey's 24 hour readathon. I really need to learn how to pace myself. Anyways. Will try to read on Sunday. :)
Sunday:
So I actually read today. I tried reading The Rithmatist, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. And so I started The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han and I flew through it. So that's what I read! So here are some stats for the end of the Readathon!
Total Pages Read: 2069
Total Books Read: 6
So that's it for the Bout of Books 10 Readathon! I think that's it for now for me with readathons because I need some recovery time from readathon burnout. Also, I can't read anything on my TBR because it seems all I can read lately is contemporary.
