Happy May, y'all! So if you didn't notice by the sheer volume of this stack, I kind of went a little crazy with my April book haul. Hey! It was my birthday okay? I have a total of 17 books this month in the haul, though one of them I did get on literally the last day of March after I had posted the March Book Haul. woops! Also, some are from giveaways I won in March but only recieved in April.
So this month I got:
- Sea of Shadows by Kelley Armstrong
- The Unbound by Victoria Schwab
- White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout
- Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout
- The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski
- Cinder by Marissa Meyer
- The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas
- Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor
- Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente
- The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson
- Written in Red by Anne Bishop
- Poison Princess by Kresley Cole
- If I Stay by Gayle Forman
- Shadowflesh by Shawn Martin
- First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones
- Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones
- Third Grave Dead Ahead by Darynda Jones
Geez. I got a crap ton of books this month. Anyways, like always, I have some stories to tell.
I won White Hot Kiss from a giveaway on Lytherus and Shadowflesh from a giveaway on GoodReads. Thank you to HarlequinTeen, Lytherus, GoodReads and Shawn Martin!
So I placed my first order ever to BookOutlet this month and got eight books! Soooo cheap! It felt really satisfying getting eight books for forty dollars. Then I got a bunch of new-ish releases from Chapters with a birthday gift card. New-ish because three of them are new releases and The Unbound.
I went to go see Captain America with my best friend and another close friend and of course the three of us couldn't help but pay a visit to the Chapters as well. I had kind of hoped to pay a visit to the book store, because I wanted to pick up If I Stay and Poison Princess, I heard was great and it was five dollars in hardcover at the bookstore, so of course I couldn't resist.
Anyways, I hope to not have this many books for May. I know for sure I will be getting We Were Liars by e.Lockhart and whatever books I get when I go down tot the Festival of Trees this month.
Happy Reading, y'all!
