So while thanksgiving for me has been over for a while now, Mishma of Chasing Faerytales and Hazel of Stay Bookish are hosting a celebration of thanks and thanksgiving across the bookish community. You can read more about it here.
I've already made a series of tweets yesterday in which I thanked everybody as a whole.
I thought about making a thread for people I'm thankful for, but I'm scared I may leave someone out.— FrostRI the ⛄️ (@Astaraya) November 24, 2016
Over the years I've been blogging, I've met so many wonderful people, some I've had the fortune of meeting IRL.— FrostRI the ⛄️ (@Astaraya) November 24, 2016
Also, Thanksgiving for me was last month, so really these sentiments should have been said earlier.— FrostRI the ⛄️ (@Astaraya) November 24, 2016
However, I'd like to take the time to thank the individuals that hold a special place in my heart.
To Dana of DanaSquare, Rachel of A Perfection Called Books, Drew of Endlessly Reading, Genissa of A Story Diary, Amber and Jess of The Book Bratz and Pili of In Love with Handmade. You lot are the first blogging friends I made when I first started out (and also coincidentally all part of the Styclar Street Team). For the first time I felt like I belonged in this virtual community and not an outsider anymore. Thank you.
To Shelly of Read Sleep Repeat
I have the fortune of calling you my friend both online and in real life. I'm thankful for you and our lengthy conversations about books, the world, etc. And also thank you for lending me your books.
To Cookie of BiscottoBooks
You're my book twin and a fellow lipstick enthusiast. I'm thankful for you and the enthusiasm you have for books even before you were a blogger. I hope to meet you irl some day. <3
To Liran of Empress of Books
You're just as into makeup and nailpolish as I am. It's always great to talk to you IRL and I hope we talk more in the future!
To Brittany of Book Rambles
Thank you for the twitter chats you host. They're an event I find myself looking forward to and I've made some really awesome friends at your twitter chats.
To the #BookishAMA peeps, Jamie of Books and Ladders, Joey of Another Afterthought and Sarah of The YA Book Traveler
I've had the fortune of meeting Jamie irl, and basically just seen Joey irl. I hope to meet Sarah in real life too and to see you peeps again irl too. Our chats are hilarious and I'm excited for our next one!
Like I said earlier, this post is mostly to give a more detailed thanks to those who I'm especially grateful for. However, I'm grateful for all of you, authors, bloggers, friends and you, the readers. Thank you for reading my blog. Thank you for indulging me and reading my ramblings about books and the like. Thank you. I started this blog halfway into my last year of high school and now I'm halfway through my third year of university. I've grown and learned a lot and here's to many more years of personal growth and learning.
