I think I've read one too many New Adult books.

UNINHIBITED is another quintessential New Adult book where the man is a big, ripped and masculine with issues and the girl is an innocent, pretty thing who's looking for an adventure. Of course there's lots of sex and there's a heavy emphasis on the romance aspect of the novel.

Dex is a damaged rock star who's trying to step back from the music scene due to some unspecified event in his past. Alicia has always been the good girl and reserved. She never took risks and played it safe. She has never done something impulsive until she found herself making out in an alley with Dex.

This novel is essentially about Dex helping Alicia let loose and Alicia helping Dex with this issues as well as their love story. I think the romance in this story was a little melodramatic. Dex falls in love at first sight with Alicia.She falls in love with him over the course of a week and they know that they are the one for each other in the course of that week.

However, I won't say that I didn't enjoy it. I find that New Adult books like UNINHIBITED are a guilty pleasure read for me and I devoured it in a single day. I personally really enjoy these kinds of books especially when they involve rock stars/royalty/celebrities in a relationship with normal people. I just do.

Overall, if you enjoy the bad boy falling for the good girl type of books and enjoy formulaic new adult, this will be a great read for you!
